I specialize in custom tattoos formatted to fit the collector. I balance technical skill with intuitive flow and ‘seeing’. I love to explore the contrast between delicate/strong, soft/bold, within a design; people generally have a sort of energetic balance point that ‘feels like them’. Some have told me they are drawn to the softness and use of skin space in my work.

I put an emphasis on design foundations, clean spacing, and flow. I work with principles like wabi-sabi, minimalism, and value what can happen when we allow things to unfold. Whether it’s fine line florals, surreal black-and-gray landscapes, elegant ornamental pieces, or illustrative animals, I work with my clients to create something that feels personal, powerful, and entirely their own.

I generally prefer to work with an idea, feeling, or general direction and then be allowed to put that together for the body placement. I take the time to listen to what you’re saying, to the emotion behind your idea, to the reason you're choosing to make this mark, and I also gather my own ideas and inspiration from what I hear.

Besides what I create for others, my own influences draw from connection to nature, and I spend a lot of time immersed in her. I really enjoy tattooing animals, landscapes, florals, fauna, sacred geometry, ornamentals and the anything from the forest.

I am mixed mexican, irish, and native american (tsalagi) and I am an enrolled member of the cherokee nation. I’ve unwittingly found myself on a reconnection journey, and continue to bring those understandings and realities into my day to day experience, worldview, and practice. As such, when it is appropriate, I do enjoy doing cultural tattoos and markings, especially contemporary takes on cultural motifs, reconnection, ancestral healing intentions, decolonization and land back motifs.
